Delete My Data

Request complete deletion of your Banana Code account and all associated data.

We respect your right to control your personal data. You can request full deletion of your account and all data stored by Banana Code at any time using either method below.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

Your profile and account information
All coding sessions and session history
All chat messages within sessions
All session events and progress data
All stored API keys
All uploaded image attachments
Your GitHub OAuth token (also revoked from GitHub)
Your Apple Sign-In association (if applicable)

This action is irreversible. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Any active coding sessions will be terminated. Pull requests already created on GitHub will remain (they belong to your GitHub account, not Banana Code).

Method 1: In the app

Open Banana Code on your device
Go to Settings
Scroll to Danger Zone
Tap Delete Account
Type DELETE to confirm

Your account and all data will be removed immediately.

Method 2: Email request

If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion via email, send a request to the address below. Include the email address associated with your account so we can verify your identity.

We will process email deletion requests within 30 days and confirm when complete.

Data retention after deletion

After deletion, we may retain anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you. No personally identifiable information is retained. Backups containing your data are purged within 30 days of your deletion request.
